Gynecology

Range of services
The first gynecological visit includes a detailed medical interview, discussion of the menstrual cycle and symptoms, as well as a gynecological examination and pelvic ultrasound. It is an important step in intimate health prevention – allowing early detection of potential abnormalities and planning further care. The visit is conducted in a comfortable and discreet atmosphere, respecting the patient's privacy.
The follow-up gynecological visit is an opportunity to monitor intimate health, review previous test results, and adjust treatment if necessary. The visit includes a gynecological examination and pelvic ultrasound. Regular check-ups allow early detection of changes and help maintain good health. The consultation is conducted in a friendly and professional atmosphere.
The visit includes discussion of previously performed test results (e.g., cytology, ultrasound, hormones, swabs) and their interpretation by a gynecologist. During the consultation, further diagnostics or treatment can be planned depending on the results. The meeting aims to provide the patient with full understanding of her health status and support for further management.
A remote consultation with a gynecologist or obstetrician is a convenient form of contact, allowing discussion of symptoms, test results, pregnancy-related complaints, or questions regarding contraception, menstrual cycle, or pregnancy planning. The doctor provides professional recommendations and can issue an e-prescription or referral for tests. The tele-consultation takes place from home, ensuring confidentiality and full professionalism.
The visit combines assessment of gynecological health with hormonal disorder diagnostics. The consultation includes a detailed medical interview, analysis of the menstrual cycle, symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth, weight or fertility issues, and evaluation of hormonal test results. The doctor tailors an individual diagnostic and therapeutic plan, considering the influence of hormonal balance on reproductive system function.
A specialized consultation aimed at couples or women who have been trying to conceive without success for at least 12 months (or 6 months for women over 35). The visit includes a detailed medical history, analysis of previous test results, menstrual cycle, lifestyle, and any existing health conditions. The doctor proposes further diagnostics and an individually tailored plan of action to identify the causes of conception difficulties and increase the chances of pregnancy.
Sono-HSG, or ultrasound hysterosalpingography, is a non-invasive method that allows assessment of the fallopian tubes and uterine cavity. The examination is a key element in infertility diagnostics, enabling the detection of potential tubal blockages and uterine anatomical abnormalities that may hinder conception or pregnancy maintenance. Sono-HSG is a safe, quick, and effective procedure to identify causes of fertility issues in many patients.
When should Sono-HSG be performed?
The examination is recommended for women who have difficulty conceiving, especially if tubal obstruction or uterine abnormalities are suspected. Blocked fallopian tubes can prevent fertilization, and an abnormal uterine shape may increase the risk of miscarriage. Sono-HSG is an important step in infertility diagnostics and can help determine further procedures, including indications for in vitro fertilization.
How to prepare for the examination?
Prior to Sono-HSG, diagnostic tests such as cytology, cervical canal cultures, and virological tests (HIV 1,2 antibodies, HBS antigen, VDRL, Anti-HBc, Anti-HCV) must be performed. If the procedure is done under general anesthesia, the patient should be fasting. For procedures without anesthesia, a light breakfast is recommended. On the day of the examination, the bladder should be filled.
Procedure of Sono-HSG
The examination is performed in a gynecological office. The doctor inserts a speculum into the vagina, followed by a thin catheter with a small balloon, which is placed in the cervix. After inflation, a special contrast is administered into the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes, allowing real-time assessment of tubal patency using ultrasound. On the ultrasound screen, the doctor observes the flow, analyzing the shape, size, and any obstructions in the reproductive tract.
The entire procedure lasts approximately 15–20 minutes, and the results are available immediately after the examination. In some cases, the contrast can help open slightly adhered fallopian tubes, increasing the chances of natural conception.
At Pozmedica Clinic, we prioritize patient comfort and professional care at every stage of diagnostics and treatment. We invite you to contact us and schedule a Sono-HSG examination.
Conventional (glass-slide) Pap smear is a basic preventive test for cervical cancer. It involves collecting a sample from the cervix and placing it on a microscope slide to evaluate epithelial cells. The test allows detection of precancerous conditions, infections (including HPV), and other abnormalities. It is quick, painless, and recommended regularly – ideally once a year – as part of intimate health prevention.
Liquid-based cytology is a modern and more precise form of cytological examination. It involves collecting cells from the cervix and placing them in a special liquid, which allows better preservation and more accurate microscopic evaluation. This method increases the detection of precancerous changes and infections, including HPV. Liquid-based cytology is recommended as a more effective alternative to conventional Pap smear for cervical cancer prevention.
The combination of liquid-based cytology (LBC) with DNA HPV testing is a modern and highly effective method for early detection of precancerous cervical changes. The examination assesses epithelial cells while simultaneously detecting 14 high-risk HPV types responsible for cervical cancer development. This combination allows for more precise diagnostics and individualized risk assessment. Particularly recommended for women over 30 years old or with abnormal cytology results.
This advanced test combines liquid-based cytology with the CinTec immunocytochemical test, which detects the presence of p16 and Ki-67 proteins – markers indicating precancerous changes in the cervix. This allows for more precise differentiation between benign changes and those requiring further diagnostics and treatment. The test increases the detection of high-risk conditions and helps in precise gynecological care planning. Particularly recommended for ambiguous or suspicious cytology results.
The test detects the DNA of 14 high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) types, which are the main cause of cervical cancer. It determines whether the patient carries any of these virus types, even if no symptoms or cytological changes are present yet. This is a valuable tool for prevention and early detection of cancer risk. Particularly recommended for women over 30 and as a supplement to diagnostics when cytology results are abnormal.
The advanced HPV DNA test allows detection of up to 32 human papillomavirus types, including high-risk types (associated with cervical cancer risk) and low-risk types (responsible, among others, for genital warts). The test precisely identifies the presence and type of HPV virus, aiding in health risk assessment and planning further diagnostics or treatment. Recommended for women as part of extended preventive care and for individuals with recurring viral changes.
The CinTec Test is a modern immunocytochemical examination performed on material collected from the cervix, detecting the presence of p16 and Ki-67 proteins – markers indicating abnormal cellular activity caused by high-risk HPV infection. The simultaneous presence of both markers indicates a higher risk of precancerous changes. The test is especially useful for evaluating ambiguous cytology results and confirmed HPV infection, helping to determine the need for further diagnostics or treatment.
Vaginal culture is a microbiological test aimed at identifying aerobic and anaerobic bacteria as well as fungi (e.g., Candida) that can cause inflammatory conditions of the reproductive tract. It allows precise determination of the type of pathogen and its sensitivity to antibiotics or antifungal medications, enabling effective and targeted treatment. The test is recommended for symptoms such as discharge, burning, itching, unpleasant odor, or recurrent intimate infections.
The test involves taking a swab from the vagina and/or rectum to detect the presence of Group B Streptococcus (Streptococcus agalactiae). This bacterium can reside in the female reproductive tract asymptomatically, but during delivery it poses a risk of infecting the newborn. GBS screening is routinely performed in pregnant women between the 35th and 37th week of gestation. A positive result allows for appropriate antibiotic prophylaxis during labor to protect the baby from complications.
Microbiological test aimed at detecting sexually transmitted bacteria: Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma hominis, Mycoplasma genitalium, and Ureaplasma urealyticum/parvum. The swab allows identification of the pathogen and assessment of its antibiotic sensitivity, enabling effective treatment. Recommended in cases of symptoms such as discharge, burning, pain during urination, difficulties conceiving, or as part of the diagnostic workup for genitourinary infections. The test can be performed on samples from the cervical canal, urethra, or urine.
Vaginal biocenosis is a microscopic examination of a vaginal swab that assesses the composition and balance of the natural bacterial flora of the reproductive tract. It determines the presence of Lactobacillus, pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and inflammatory cells. The result is classified according to vaginal cleanliness grades (I–IV), which helps diagnose inflammatory conditions, microbiological imbalance, and select appropriate treatment. The test is quick, painless, and recommended for recurrent intimate infections or prior to gynecological procedures.
Gardasil 9 is a modern vaccine protecting against 9 types of human papillomavirus (HPV), including the most oncogenic types (e.g., 16 and 18) and those responsible for genital warts. The vaccination effectively prevents the development of cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and anal cancers, as well as HPV-related skin lesions. It is recommended for both girls and boys from 9 years old, as well as adults – especially before the onset of sexual activity, but also later in life. Administered in a series of 2 or 3 doses depending on the patient’s age.
A short consultation aimed at issuing a prescription to continue previously recommended treatment – including hormonal contraception, gynecological medications, supplements, or hormonal preparations. The visit does not include a physical examination but may include a brief assessment of the patient’s health status and current needs. This service is intended for individuals under regular medical care with a documented treatment history.
An intrauterine device (IUD) with gold or silver ions is a modern, non-hormonal form of long-term contraception. The noble metal ions have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, reducing the risk of infection and improving IUD tolerance. The procedure involves the insertion of the intrauterine system by a gynecologist in an outpatient setting, usually during or immediately after menstruation. This method provides effective protection against pregnancy for 5 to 10 years without affecting the body's hormonal balance.
The procedure involves the professional insertion of an intrauterine device (IUD) provided by the patient. The IUD can be hormonal or non-hormonal, and its placement in the uterus is performed in an outpatient setting by a gynecologist. The procedure is quick and usually carried out during or immediately after menstruation. After insertion, the doctor provides guidance on further care, monitoring for potential symptoms, and follow-up appointments. This service ensures effective, long-term contraception according to the patient’s choice.
Kyleena is a hormonal intrauterine device containing a low dose of levonorgestrel, an effective method of long-term contraception (up to 5 years). The procedure involves insertion of the device by a gynecologist in an outpatient setting, usually during or just after menstruation. Kyleena acts locally to reduce the risk of pregnancy and often alleviates menstrual pain and heavy bleeding. After insertion, the doctor provides instructions regarding monitoring and follow-up appointments.
A procedure involving the safe and quick removal of an intrauterine device (hormonal or non-hormonal) by a gynecologist in an outpatient setting. The procedure is short and usually does not require anesthesia. Device removal is recommended after the suggested usage period, if the patient decides to change the contraceptive method, or if any discomfort occurs. After the procedure, the patient receives instructions regarding further care and planning of subsequent actions.
Laboratory microscopic examination of tissue collected during a surgical procedure or biopsy, aimed at assessing the morphology of cells and detecting possible pathological changes, including inflammatory conditions, precancerous lesions, and malignancies. This examination is essential for establishing a definitive diagnosis and selecting appropriate treatment. The histopathological analysis provides detailed information on the nature and extent of changes in the examined material.
Specialized cylindrical supporting tampon used in gynecology as post-surgical support or in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. The Contam tampon provides proper support and stabilization, facilitates tissue healing, and helps prevent infections. Easy to insert and comfortable to use.

Obstetrics

Range of services
The first obstetric visit is a key stage of care for a pregnant woman. It includes a detailed medical history, assessment of general health, calculation of gestational age, and a gynecological examination with ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and its location. The doctor orders necessary laboratory tests, provides recommendations on diet, supplementation, and lifestyle, and establishes a plan for further prenatal care. The visit takes place in a calm, supportive environment, ensuring safety and comfort for the expectant mother.
The follow-up obstetric visit is part of regular prenatal care. It includes assessment of the mother’s health and the developing fetus, measurement of blood pressure and body weight, evaluation of the baby’s heart activity, and a gynecological examination with ultrasound. The doctor reviews previous test results, orders additional diagnostic tests according to gestational age, and discusses the next steps in pregnancy management. The visit allows early detection of potential complications and ensures comprehensive, safe care for both the expectant mother and the baby.
An ultrasound examination performed in the early stage of pregnancy, usually transvaginally, allowing confirmation of pregnancy, its location (intrauterine), number of embryos, and assessment of fetal heart activity. Ultrasound up to the 12th week also enables determination of gestational age, evaluation of the gestational and yolk sacs, and exclusion of ectopic pregnancy or other abnormalities. This is a key examination for confirming proper development in the first trimester and planning further prenatal care.
An ultrasound examination aimed at assessing the maturation of ovarian follicles and determining the timing of ovulation. It is performed transvaginally on various days of the menstrual cycle, usually multiple times within one cycle. Ovulation monitoring helps accurately identify fertile days, which is particularly useful for pregnancy planning, diagnosing ovulation disorders, or assisted reproductive procedures. The examination is painless, safe, and requires no special preparation.
The visit includes discussion of laboratory, imaging (e.g., ultrasound), or genetic test results obtained during pregnancy. The doctor interprets the results in the context of the stage of pregnancy and the overall health of the patient and the baby, provides recommendations, and, if necessary, orders further diagnostics or adjusts the prenatal care plan. The consultation helps clarify doubts, provide reliable information, and ensures safety and continuity of care during pregnancy.
Remote obstetric consultation allows contact with a doctor without leaving home – ideal for discussing test results, pregnancy symptoms, medications, recommendations, or concerning signs. The teleconsultation may include issuing an e-prescription, e-referral, or planning further diagnostic steps. It is a safe and convenient form of support for pregnant women, especially between in-person visits, ensuring continuity of medical care.
A non-invasive examination that monitors the fetal heart rate and uterine contraction activity. CTG allows assessment of the baby’s well-being during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester and during labor. The procedure involves attaching special sensors to the patient’s abdomen to record the fetal heartbeat and uterine contractions. CTG results help detect potential risks and guide therapeutic decisions, ensuring the safety of both mother and child. The examination is painless, safe, and requires no special preparation.

The P-Shot, also known as Plasma Shot, involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) directly into the penis. Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from the patient’s own blood and contains a high concentration of platelets, proteins, and growth factors.
Purpose of the procedure:
  • Improved penile blood flow – PRP stimulates tissues and enhances blood circulation, which may positively affect erections.
  • Tissue regeneration – PRP supports the natural healing and regeneration of cells, contributing to improved sexual function.
  • Cell growth stimulation – Platelet-rich plasma may promote cell repair and growth, potentially increasing penile volume.
Applications:
  • Treatment of erectile dysfunction – The procedure helps improve the quality of erections by enhancing blood flow to the penis.
  • Improvement of sexual function – May increase sensitivity and enhance overall sexual experience.
  • Increase in penile volume – Although not the primary goal, PRP may contribute to slight volume increase through cell growth stimulation.
The P-Shot procedure is considered minimally invasive, as it utilizes the body’s natural regenerative processes. It is recommended to consult a physician before undergoing the procedure to determine if it is suitable for your situation.
What is a vasectomy?
A vasectomy is an effective male contraceptive method that involves cutting and tying the vas deferens. The procedure blocks the transport of sperm and results in permanent infertility.
Legality
Vasectomy is a legal procedure performed in Poland and worldwide.
Indications
Vasectomy is recommended for men who:
  • do not plan to have children in the future,
  • should not have children due to health reasons,
  • are seeking a permanent alternative to other contraception methods.
Contraindications
It is not performed in cases such as:
  • acute infections,
  • uncontrolled chronic diseases,
  • blood clotting disorders.
Procedure
The procedure lasts about 30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. Two methods are used:
  • classic (CV) – via skin incision,
  • no-scalpel (NSV) – less invasive, with faster healing.
The patient goes home on the same day.
Post-procedure recommendations
For several days, avoid physical exertion, use cold compresses, and wear tight underwear. Symptoms like swelling or mild pain usually subside quickly.
Effectiveness
Vasectomy is approximately 99% effective. Full effect appears after 3 months and confirmation of no sperm in a semen test. Rarely, spontaneous recanalization may occur.
Cost
The procedure is not reimbursed.
Reversibility

Transfontanelle ultrasound allows:
  • assessment of brain structure development and detection of congenital abnormalities,
  • diagnosis of intracranial bleeding and birth-related injuries,
  • monitoring of ventricular size and detection of hydrocephalus,
  • evaluation of cranial suture closure,
  • diagnosis of post-traumatic changes, such as skull fractures,
  • vascular flow assessment using Doppler ultrasound to evaluate brain blood supply.
Transfontanelle ultrasound is particularly recommended for premature babies, newborns from high-risk pregnancies, and infants with concerning neurological symptoms. It is also indicated in cases of developmental abnormalities or irregularities detected during prenatal screening.
How is this examination performed?
During the examination, the doctor places a special ultrasound probe on the baby's fontanelle. The resulting image allows for a detailed analysis of brain structures. The test is painless, non-invasive, lasts only a few minutes, and can be performed in the presence of parents.
Transfontanelle ultrasound is a safe and effective method for assessing the neurological condition of infants, offering a valuable alternative to more advanced imaging methods such as CT or MRI.
You can register for the examination via the contact form available on our clinic’s website or by phone. At Pozmedica, we ensure the highest diagnostic quality, modern equipment, and experienced specialists.
Pediatric lung ultrasound allows:
  • diagnosis and monitoring of both acute (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia) and chronic respiratory conditions,
  • assessment of congenital lung abnormalities.
Imaging diagnostics can detect diseases at an early stage and monitor treatment effectiveness. Pediatric lung ultrasound is commonly performed in cases of prolonged unexplained cough, recurrent respiratory infections, or suspected pneumonia.
How is this examination performed?
At Pozmedica Clinic, pediatric lung ultrasounds are conducted based on a referral from the attending physician. The procedure is painless and requires no special preparation. After applying a special ultrasound gel to the child’s chest, the doctor moves the probe while observing the images on the monitor.
When is lung ultrasound recommended?
The examination is performed on a physician’s order when it is necessary to detect lung changes that are not visible during auscultation. Ultrasound allows visualization of soft tissue structures and identification of possible abnormalities in the lungs.
Conducting the examination in a comfortable environment allows for detailed imaging of the lungs, facilitating an accurate diagnosis. The procedure is performed by a specialist with an empathetic approach to young patients, minimizing stress. After the ultrasound, the doctor discusses the results with the parents to help them understand their child’s health status and choose appropriate treatment. At Pozmedica, we prioritize fast and precise diagnostics, as early detection is key to effective treatment.

Orthopedics

Range of services
Specialized orthopedic visit combined with an ultrasound examination of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments). During the consultation, the doctor conducts an interview, assesses pain and mobility limitations, and then performs an ultrasound to quickly diagnose post-traumatic, overload-related, inflammatory, or degenerative changes. After the examination, the orthopedic specialist may suggest further treatment, rehabilitation, or referral for additional imaging tests. No prior preparation is required for the visit.
A visit with a sports medicine specialist, which includes assessing the health and physical fitness of physically active individuals – both amateurs and professionals. The consultation may cover training planning, injury prevention, treatment of injuries, recovery, and qualification for sports participation. The doctor conducts a detailed interview, physical examination, and, if necessary, orders additional diagnostic tests. The consultation helps safely develop physical activity and tailor it to the individual’s capabilities.
A visit with an orthopedic specialist combined with the administration of a hyaluronic acid preparation directly into the joint (most commonly the knee, shoulder, or hip). Hyaluronic acid acts as a “natural lubricant,” improving joint mobility, reducing friction, and alleviating pain, particularly in degenerative joint disease. During the consultation, the doctor assesses the joint, qualifies the patient for the procedure, and then performs the injection. The procedure is minimally invasive, quick, and generally well tolerated.
A procedure involving the administration of medication directly into the joint – most commonly the knee, shoulder, or hip – to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, or improve joint function. Depending on indications, anti-inflammatory, steroid, or hyaluronic acid preparations are used. The injection is performed by a doctor, often under ultrasound guidance to increase precision. The price includes both the consultation and the cost of the medication used. The procedure is short, minimally invasive, and generally well tolerated by patients.
A procedure involving the professional removal of stitches placed after surgery, a surgical procedure, or injury. Performed by medical personnel in an outpatient setting, following aseptic rules. During the visit, the healing process of the wound is assessed, and after stitch removal, a dressing may be applied. The procedure is quick, usually painless, and requires no special preparation. Regular timely stitch removal helps prevent complications and supports proper skin healing.
A medical procedure involving the administration of medication via syringe and needle – intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intravenously – depending on the indication. Injections are performed by qualified medical personnel following aseptic rules, ensuring safety and effectiveness. They can be used for the rapid effect of pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, vitamin, or other doctor-prescribed preparations. The procedure takes a few minutes and requires no special preparation.
A procedure involving the insertion of a needle into a body cavity or diseased area (e.g., joint, cyst, abscess) to drain accumulated fluid, blood, or pus. The procedure is performed in an outpatient setting by a doctor, often under ultrasound guidance, which increases precision and safety. The puncture (aspiration) can be diagnostic or therapeutic – providing pain relief and reducing swelling. The procedure is minimally invasive, short, and generally well tolerated by the patient.
A specialized orthopedic consultation combined with a block – an injection of pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medication into the affected segment of the spine (e.g., lumbar, thoracic, or cervical). The procedure aims to relieve severe pain, reduce inflammation, and improve patient comfort. The block is performed by a doctor, often under ultrasound or X-ray guidance, ensuring precision and safety. The visit includes qualification for the procedure, health assessment, and discussion of further treatment.
An orthopedic consultation combined with a pain-relief block – an injection of medication (usually a steroid and/or anesthetic) into an area affected by inflammation or severe pain, such as a joint, tendon, or near the spine. The procedure aims to quickly relieve pain and improve mobility. During the consultation, the doctor assesses the patient's condition, qualifies them for the procedure, and performs the block, often under ultrasound guidance to increase precision. The entire procedure is minimally invasive and generally well tolerated.
A procedure involving the administration of a steroid medication directly into an area affected by inflammation – most often into a joint, bursa, or near a tendon. The injection aims to quickly reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation, especially in orthopedic, rheumatic, or post-injury conditions. The procedure is performed by a doctor, often under ultrasound guidance for greater precision. A steroid injection is a short, minimally invasive treatment that usually provides rapid pain relief.
A procedure involving the injection of hyaluronic acid directly into the joint to improve its function and relieve pain and inflammation. Hyaluronic acid acts as a natural lubricant and shock absorber, supporting proper joint movement and protecting the cartilage. This injection is commonly used to treat osteoarthritis and other orthopedic conditions. The procedure is minimally invasive, performed by a doctor, often under ultrasound guidance, and provides relief from joint pain.
A procedure involving the injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s own blood into the tissues. PRP stimulates regenerative processes, supports healing, and reduces inflammation within joints, muscles, tendons, and skin. The treatment is used in orthopedics, aesthetic medicine, and rehabilitation. It is safe, minimally invasive, and well tolerated, aiming to accelerate the body’s natural regeneration and improve the function of the treated structures.

Radiology

Range of services
A non-invasive ultrasound examination allowing assessment of internal organs in the abdominal cavity, such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and major blood vessels. Ultrasound helps detect structural changes, inflammation, tumors, stones, or other abnormalities. The procedure is painless, safe, and usually does not require special preparation, although a light diet and reduction of intestinal gas are often recommended beforehand. It is widely used in the diagnosis of various gastrointestinal and urinary tract conditions.
Before an abdominal ultrasound, patients should fast for 6 hours – no eating, smoking, or chewing gum is allowed. Drinking 1–2 glasses of plain, non-carbonated water is permitted. It is best to attend the examination with a full bladder.
An ultrasound examination of the salivary glands, allowing assessment of their structure and detection of changes such as cysts, stones, inflammation, or tumors. The procedure is non-invasive, painless, and performed using a transducer applied to the skin in the area of the salivary glands (usually parotid and submandibular glands). Salivary gland ultrasound is a quick and safe diagnostic method that helps determine the cause of symptoms such as swelling, pain, or dryness in the oral cavity.
A non-invasive ultrasound examination used to assess the structure and size of the thyroid gland and detect any abnormalities such as nodules, cysts, or inflammation. The procedure is painless, quick, and safe, performed by applying the ultrasound transducer to the skin of the neck. Thyroid ultrasound helps in diagnosing hormonal disorders, evaluating potential tumors, and monitoring thyroid disease treatment. No special preparation is required from the patient.
Ultrasound examination of lymph nodes in the neck, groin, and axillary regions, allowing assessment of their size, structure, and any pathological changes such as enlargement, inflammation, cysts, or suspicious nodules. The procedure is non-invasive, painless, and performed by placing an ultrasound transducer on the skin of the examined areas. Lymph node ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool for detecting infections, cancers, and monitoring treatment progress.
Ultrasound examination of the neck allows assessment of anatomical structures such as lymph nodes, salivary glands, thyroid, muscles, and blood vessels. The procedure is painless, non-invasive, and quick, performed by placing the ultrasound transducer on the skin of the neck. Neck ultrasound helps in diagnosing enlarged lymph nodes, nodular changes, inflammation, and other abnormalities in the neck region. No special preparation is required.

Painless and non-invasive ultrasound examination that allows assessment of breast tissue structure and detection of potential changes such as cysts, nodules, or thickened areas. Breast ultrasound is especially recommended for younger women, whose breast tissue is denser and less accessible for mammography. The examination helps in diagnosing benign changes, detecting suspected malignant lesions, and monitoring treatment. No special preparation is required, and the procedure usually takes several minutes.

Proctology

Range of services
A specialist visit with a proctologist, a doctor who diagnoses and treats diseases of the anus, rectum, and lower gastrointestinal tract. The consultation includes a detailed medical history, physical examination, and if necessary, a rectal examination or anoscopy. Indications for the visit include, among others, rectal bleeding, pain, itching, lumps, bowel movement problems, or suspicion of hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or fistulas. The visit is conducted in a discreet and comfortable atmosphere, respecting the patient’s privacy.
A visit with a proctologist combined with an ultrasound examination (transrectal or transabdominal) to precisely assess the structures of the anus, rectum, and surrounding tissues. The consultation includes medical history, physical examination, symptom assessment, and performing the ultrasound, which can detect abscesses, fistulas, tumors, inflammatory changes, or other abnormalities. This comprehensive diagnostic approach is particularly useful in complex cases requiring precise imaging. The visit is conducted with full comfort and discretion.
Barron banding is a minimally invasive, painless procedure for treating internal hemorrhoids of grades I–III. It involves placing special rubber bands at the base of the hemorrhoidal tissue, causing ischemia, tissue necrosis, and spontaneous detachment within a few days. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, without anesthesia, and does not require hospitalization. It is an effective and safe method to reduce symptoms such as bleeding, itching, or prolapse of hemorrhoids, allowing a quick return to daily activities.
Anoscopy is a short, non-invasive diagnostic examination of the lower anal canal and rectum using a speculum (anoscope). It allows precise evaluation of the mucous membrane and detection of conditions such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, polyps, inflammation, or neoplastic changes. The examination lasts only a few minutes, can be performed on an outpatient basis, and usually requires no special preparation. It is well tolerated by patients and is an important part of proctological diagnostics.
Rectoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the rectum and the final section of the large intestine (up to approx. 25 cm), performed to diagnose gastrointestinal diseases such as bleeding, polyps, tumors, inflammation, or chronic constipation. It is carried out using a rigid speculum (rectoscope), usually without anesthesia. The examination lasts a few minutes and can be performed on an outpatient basis. Prior to rectoscopy, bowel cleansing is recommended (e.g., with a rectal laxative). It is an important tool in the prevention and diagnosis of rectal diseases.
