FAQ
Are all procedures performed under local anesthesia?
The scope of neonatology services in our facility is based on the highest quality standards, creating an environment that supports the health, development, and sense of security of the youngest patients.
Is the laser better than a scalpel?
The MonaLisa Touch laser allows precise cutting, reduces bleeding, accelerates healing, and provides a better aesthetic effect. It is especially recommended for circumcision and removing skin lesions in delicate areas.
Can I return to work immediately after the procedure?
It depends on the type of procedure and the nature of your work. After minor procedures, such as frenulum plasty or removal of nodules, many patients return to work the next day. After circumcision or biopsy, it is recommended to rest for 1–3 days.
Are pearly papules a sexually transmitted disease?
No. PPP is a completely benign anatomical variation. It is not infectious, not caused by viruses, and does not require treatment unless the patient experiences aesthetic discomfort.
Can I get infected again after removing genital warts?
Yes – HPV infection can reactivate or appear anew, which is why regular check-ups and, if possible, vaccination against HPV are important.

Pearly penile papules (PPP) are benign, small bumps arranged in rows around the corona of the glans. They are not a disease, not contagious, not related to viruses, and do not require treatment. However, they can sometimes cause aesthetic discomfort or be mistaken for sexually transmitted infections (e.g., condylomas).
Indications for the procedure:
  • Aesthetic reasons
  • Patient concern or misdiagnosis
Procedure description
The lesions are removed using a precise MonaLisa Touch laser under local anesthesia. The procedure is quick, bloodless, and provides an excellent cosmetic result.

  • Recurrent infections
  • Skin lesions (e.g., lichen sclerosus)

  • Maintain hygiene and use doctor-recommended products

The P-Shot, also known as Plasma Shot, involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) directly into the penis. Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from the patient’s own blood and contains a high concentration of platelets, proteins, and growth factors.
Purpose of the procedure:
  • Improved penile blood flow – PRP stimulates tissues and enhances blood circulation, which may positively affect erections.
  • Tissue regeneration – PRP supports the natural healing and regeneration of cells, contributing to improved sexual function.
  • Cell growth stimulation – Platelet-rich plasma may promote cell repair and growth, potentially increasing penile volume.
Applications:
  • Treatment of erectile dysfunction – The procedure helps improve the quality of erections by enhancing blood flow to the penis.
  • Improvement of sexual function – May increase sensitivity and enhance overall sexual experience.
  • Increase in penile volume – Although not the primary goal, PRP may contribute to slight volume increase through cell growth stimulation.
The P-Shot procedure is considered minimally invasive, as it utilizes the body’s natural regenerative processes. It is recommended to consult a physician before undergoing the procedure to determine if it is suitable for your situation.
What is a vasectomy?
A vasectomy is an effective male contraceptive method that involves cutting and tying the vas deferens. The procedure blocks the transport of sperm and results in permanent infertility.
Legality
Vasectomy is a legal procedure performed in Poland and worldwide.
Indications
Vasectomy is recommended for men who:
  • do not plan to have children in the future,
  • should not have children due to health reasons,
  • are seeking a permanent alternative to other contraception methods.
Contraindications
It is not performed in cases such as:
  • acute infections,
  • uncontrolled chronic diseases,
  • blood clotting disorders.
Procedure
The procedure lasts about 30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. Two methods are used:
  • classic (CV) – via skin incision,
  • no-scalpel (NSV) – less invasive, with faster healing.
The patient goes home on the same day.
Post-procedure recommendations
For several days, avoid physical exertion, use cold compresses, and wear tight underwear. Symptoms like swelling or mild pain usually subside quickly.
Effectiveness
Vasectomy is approximately 99% effective. Full effect appears after 3 months and confirmation of no sperm in a semen test. Rarely, spontaneous recanalization may occur.
Cost
The procedure is not reimbursed.
Reversibility
Vasovasostomy is possible, but it is more difficult and not always successful.
Sexual life after vasectomy
Ejaculation and sexual pleasure remain unchanged – only sperm is absent in the semen.
